A Logitech exclusive, the G5's 36-gram adjustable weight cartridge gives you thousands of variations on balance and weight—including one that´s perfect for your unique gaming style. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) gaming feet provide the ultra-smooth glide you want in a gaming-grade mouse, while the 2000 dpi laser engine sends out an astounding 1000 USB reports per second for precision response at blinding speeds. Logitech´s SetPoint software allows you to customize your mouse with advanced features such as game detection and in-game adjustable sensitivity (including independent x- and y-axis settings).
The G5 is a durable, well designed mouse. I have been using it for over a year now with no problems. It's very comfortable in the hand and the ability to add or subract weight from it (by adding little weights that fit inside on the bottom) makes it perfect for the gamer. By adding or subtracting weight you can get the feel and the flow that you are looking for. Once you find that "sweet spot" weight, you will really get spoiled by this mouse.
